Vigan restaurant offers burgers in unique sizesHamburgers as big as a basketball and as small as a five-peso coin.
Those are the kinds of burgers served by Kusina de Kenyong, a restaurant in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. It's seven hours away from Manila. The restaurant's basketball-sized burger features a one-kilo beef patty and costs nearly P1,000. Meanwhile, its smallest burger measures just two-inches in diameter. Kusina de Kenyong offers a basketball-sized burger—which has a diameter of 11 inches and boasts of a beef patty that's a hefty one kilo. The burger, which is priced at P550, can easily be shared by five people. Restaurant owner Kenley Filarca said, "We are proud of our burger. The patty is 100% beef. We don't use extenders." The restaurant has also issued a challenge to its patrons. If a person can eat the entire burger in 15 minutes, they get it for free.
